Our Approach
At Knowledge Tree Consulting, every intervention is crafted with meticulous care, ensuring maximum effect and impact. We follow a holistic approach, with the Kirkpatrick Model of Evaluation as our basis for measuring effectiveness of learning.
How we measure Learning Effectiveness using the Kirkpatrick Model
Level 4: Results
Level 3: Impact
Level 2: Learning
Level 1: Reaction
Have learners exhibited improved performance at work?
---
Are learners able to apply their learnings at work?
---
Is there an increase in the learners’ knowledge levels?
---
Did learners find the program favourable, engaging & relevant?
---
ROI, Improved CS/ES Scores, 360-degree Feedback etc.
---
Action Projects, Learning Journals, Supervisor Feedback
---
Pre & Post-Program Assessments
---
Program Feedback
---
The Kirkpatrick Model is recognized internationally, as the de facto tool for evaluating and analyzing learning effectiveness. It consists of four levels of evaluation, namely, Reaction, Learning, Impact and Results.

At Knowledge Tree Consulting we use the Kirkpatrick Model for evaluating our programs and workshops objectively.
Reaction is measured through learner feedback at the end of every session.
Learning is measured through cognitive assessments before and after each program.
Impact is measured through assessed Work Action Projects where learners implement what they have learnt in real-life situations. Supervisor Feedback based on set parameters is an additional way that impact is measured.
Results – We know that a program has been effective when the learner’s improved skills show a marked impact on ROI, Customer/Employee Survey Scores and other internal metrics.
Our Pedagogy
It is a proven fact that different learners have different ways of learning and assimilating information. Our programs are designed to accommodate individual learning styles through a wide range of methods to ensure a uniform learning experience, whether the learner is,
an Accommodator – Concrete experience + Active Experiment
a Converger – Abstract Conceptualization + Active Experiment
a Diverger – Concrete Experience + Reflective Observation
or an Assimilator – Abstract Conceptualization + Reflective Observation
Our programs, whether in-person or virtual, are totally interactive and are built around adult learning principles with activities and exercises, case studies, roleplays, games and simulations. We like to ensure the effectiveness of our programs by assessing participants on the concepts they have learnt, through assessments and assignments. We monitor and track the learning progress of individual participants during our journey programs through detailed dashboards.
We ensure implementation of concepts at the workplace through work action projects and maintenance of learning journals.
